My first concern was that I did not want to put Jesus words in His mouth which He never would have uttered. That the whole book, for some, is not always easy to read and sometimes not so easy to understand as I would have liked is something I have to accept. Especially when you do not believe or don’t know God's Word so well, reading this book can be a startling experience for you as a reader every now and then. Try to find everything you do not understand, in His word, the Bible. Ask God, even if you are not a believer, to grant you wisdom to understand it. |
