| Meer info | Absolutely massive tome, with some fascinating titbits. It's not just restricted to the obits of Hollywood stars, it also includes British soap and sitcom actors. This could so easily have been a very dry book simply of listed facts, but it is leavened by the author's sense of humour, and his knack for wrinkling out obscure little facts about each person. There are no illustrations, but considering the text alone runs at nearly a 1000 pages, this is probably just as well! Would love to see a Kindle version of this, it would make it a lot easier on the old hands to read. |
