These pieces were transcribed from the recorded solos by Peter Phillips for publication in this book by Hansen Publications. There are 8 pieces; seven by de Plata and "Saeta" a vocal stylization of Jose Reyes. There are also 8 pages devoted to "The Art of Flamenco," "the Gitanos," and "The Flamenco Guitar" with summaries of various flamenco forms. The volume is 11 by 8 3/8 inches in size with 32 pages. The cover is a heavier stock with smooth, glossy finish, a large photo and orange and purple print. Photos in the book are black and white.This book is in excellent condition. The cover looks new with crisp corners and edges and a nice sheen and no imperfections. The music is like new; there are no notes or rehearsal markings, no tears or creases. The paper used for the music is of a nice quality. |
