Contains 28 lithographed plates by J. Smit, numerous figure drawings, tables, preface, content-plates -text figures lists, appendix, and index. Originally published in 1898, this particular reproduction is a unique and fully complete b&w photocopy of No. 159 of the limited, publisher-signed edition of 500 copies. - strong binding, all text and plates clear and unmarked – only a few light pencil tick marks on the content list - printed on fairly thick paper in black & white; black print lines along the inner binding – see photos - double page text is followed by double blank page throughout the book - ex-libris stamp from Leiden’s Rijks-Museum van Natuurlijke Historie on cover and title page; the Edinburgh Printers logo on the inner back board - some outer scuff marks Format: 18.5x14 cm. Voor al uw vragen en/of voor het vrijblijvend aanvragen van een volledige inventaris met alle vogel- en natuurboeken die nog te koop zijn (500+), kunt u contact opnemen met Erna Horn op ernahorn@hotmail.co.uk.
* Ewold signeerde zelf bijna al zijn boeken, en dit feit wordt als zodanig dan ook niet nog extra vermeld in de beschrijving.
