Texts in French by Valéry, Gide, Sartre, Michaux, Bonney etc. \nThe Verve review was a luxurious, modernist Parisian art magazine published between 1937 and 1960. It sought to bring the works of the emergent Modernist and Surrealist painters to a wider public. Only 38 editions were published, due to the high degree of design and editorial work dedicated to each issue. Each edition contained unique lithographic prints.
