Opens with Hooght's scholarly preface in Latin, followed by 10 pages of praises for the new edition, from various scholars and professors, including Johannes Braun and Adriaan Reland. The text, versified in both Hebrew and Arabic numerals, also contains Hooght's new Latin apparatus to aid Christian scholars. List of appropriate haftarot (order of the additional weekly readings from Prophets) according to Sephardic and Ashkenaz customs, as well as a large index citing textual differences between the Athias, Bomberg and Plantin editions.
