E.O. Adapted by the author into French and published in 1946 by Pierre Bordas. As the publication was no succes, Bordas gave up publishing other books by Beckett and even sold its unsold stock to Editions de Minuit. According to a note from the editor, precisely 258 copies had been sold in 1953 and the rest of the edition was put back on sale in December of that year with a new cover.
