Dust jacket a bit browned and worn at the edges and usual points. Traces of a bookplate. Nr. 617/650, inscribed and signed by Norman Douglas to 'his old friend/ W.H.D. Rouse', dated May 1935. Rouse (1863-1950) was a well-known teacher, headmaster of The Perse School and one of the founder editors of Loeb Classical Library. Nice book about love potions with a portrait of the author as a toddler in girl's clothes.
