Published to accompany an exhibition at the British Museum and the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, this catalogue looks at Claude Lorrain, as a draughtsman, focusing on his style and technique. The majority of the drawings are taken from the collections of the British Museum, with a selection from the lesser-known collection of his work fromhoused in the Ashmoleon Museum.
