Llull (1232-1316) was a famous Catalan-Majorcan writer, poet and philosopher and one of the creators of literary Catalan. This book contains, apart form an ample introduction, four of his most famous works: The Book of the Gentile and the Three Wise Men, The Book of the Beasts, Ars brevis (all translated by Anthony Bonner) and The Book of the Lover and the Beloved (new translation by Eve Bonner). His work was highly appreciated by Huizinga and Jolles. Good copy.
