Three family reading books of a larger series with articles about art, stories and poems, with illustrations after artists like Van Gogh, but also contemporary graphic artists like J.P. Franken Pzn. Eugène Strens was a large scale bookplate collector, who kept his books in fine condition - which is rare with family reading books. Striking expressionist-art deco cover designs.
