Niet alleen de redevoeringen zelf zijn vertaald, maar ook de προοίμια δημηγορικά (exordia contionum) en de ἐπιστολαί (epistulae), in dezelfde opmaak. Two columns per page: Greek text on the left, Latin translation on the right. Not only the speeches themselves have been translated into Latin, but also the προοίμια δημηγορικά (exordia contionum) and the ἐπιστολαί (epistulae), in the same layout. Inhoudsopgave / Contents: pp. i-xii Praefatio pp. 1-746 Orationes pp. 746-771 "Exordia concionum". pp. 771-786 “Epistolae" pp. 787-794 Fragmenta pp. 795-820 "Reiskii indices historici et geographici; correcti, aucti, dispositi" Het boek is in goede staat, zijn leeftijd in aanmerking genomen. Gebonden in halfleer, gemarmerde platten. Zowel band als platten zijn wat geschaafd. De lederen rug heeft een kleine beschadiging (zie foto), vouw in de rechteronderhoek. Het binnenwerk is in orde, afgezien van een paar onderstrepingen in potlood in de inleiding, wat potlood in de Eerste Philippica en nummering in potlood van de orationes 35-61, die in de uitgave niet genummerd zijn. Verder de bijna onvermijdelijke roestvlekkigheid (foxing) die zich voornamelijk beperkt tot de randen van de bladzijden. Alleen de bovensnee is machinaal gesneden. Zie de foto’s voor voorbeeldpagina’s. The volume is in good condition, considering its age. Bound in half leather, marbled boards. Spine and boards rubbed. The leather of the spine has minor damage (see photo), bottom right corner folded. The interior is good, apart from the almost inevitable foxing, which is mainly limited to the edges of the pages. A few underlinings in pencil in the introduction, some pencil in the First Philippic and numbering in pencil of the orationes 35-61, which were not numbered in this edition.
