| Meer info | Erich Wilhelm Heinrich Kallius (3 August 1867, in Berlin 1 January 1935, in Heidelberg) was a German anatomist. His research was mainly in the fields of comparative anatomy and evolutionary development. His primary areas of work included studies on the development of the tongue and of the thyroid gland. He is credited with introducing a method of "fixing" Golgi stains so that contrast-stains could be employed with them and the specimens protected by cover-slips. |
