The fortunes of the breweries are charted in their trays through the boom years prior to 1920, the staggering losses of the Prohibition era, and the conservation during World War II. Discover the alternative materials used when tin was in short supply. Manufacturers of the trays, their artwork(often sold to more than one brewery) and their marks are described in detail. Breweries emblazoned on the trays include Ballantine, Bartels, Genessee, and Narragansett. The names of some of the brews themselves provide occasional surprises, like OLE MULE ALE and ANTRACITEBEER. De nadruk van het aanbod ligt op cultuur (muziek, film, beeldende- en toegepaste kunst), wetenschap, geschiedenis, architectuur, landen en volken en (auto)biografie. Het merendeel van de boeken die ik aanbied is Engelstalig. Dat is de taal waarin ik graag lees.

I have been passionate about reading and books since childhood. The books I offer for sale come from my personal collection. I am parting with them to make room for new ones. Our house is small and, much as I would like to, I simply cannot keep everything.
The focus of my selection is on culture (music, film, visual and applied arts), science, history, architecture, countries and peoples, and (auto)biographies. Most of the books I offer are in English, the language I most enjoy reading.
