| Meer info | The Com Art Group was active in Suwon and had a focus on performance and communication art with the public. It was founded by seven members: Kim Kyunghan, Kim Sukwhan, Lee Kyung-geun, Choi Byungki, Huh Jong-su, Hong Oh-bong, and Hwang Min-soo. The chair of the organizing committee was Kim Sukwhan. The advisory committee consisted of Lee Bann (painting), Lee Seungtaek (sculpture), Lee Kun-Yong (performance), Shim Woosung (event), Yoon Jinsup, Yun Uhak (criticism), An Chi-in, Jeong Junmo, and Choi Pilgyu (management). A total of seventy-seven participants from Germany, the United States, India, Japan, Portugal, and France took part in the exhibition. Two days before the opening, the city of Suwon prohibited the installation of forty-five works and the planned performance art in Jang-an Park, citing damage to the lawn and facilities (source www.mmcaresearch.kr) |
