| Meer info | André Mary (1879-1962) was a poet and specialist for mediaeval French literature. Inspired by his birth ground, Burgundy, much of his work was inspired by the mediaeval times, which is also the case in this work, where mediaeval heroes are portrayed by Hermann Paul and described in a shot poem by Mary. Hermann Paul (1864-1940) was a French caricaturist and illustrator. He worked in many techniques, but after World-War I mainly in woodcut.
