| Meer info | Hassan Sharif is a contemporary artist from the Emirate of Dubai, U.A.E. where he lives and works today. He began his artistic life as a cartoonist during the 1970s, and then went to art school. He has drawn, painted, photographed, performed, experimented, and installed. Sharif decided that he was something between a painter and a sculptor, but could not find an existing category that was appropriate, so now he defines his work as 'objects'.
