Dit is het verhaal van Carl Bechstein Piano, Duitsland. Er zijn veel mooie foto's evenals artikelen (getuigenissen) van concertpianisten. De geschiedenis is interessant voor iedereen die een Bechstein-piano bezit, aangezien het bedrijf zijn ups en downs in Duitsland door twee wereldoorlogen heeft beleefd. Door de tijd heen goed (zeer goed) en slecht (heel, heel slecht) blijft het bedrijf de familie van de oprichter.
