In 1850 Louis Desiree Blanquart-Evrard (1802-1872) introduced the Albumen paper print process, which should be the main printing medium untill the end of the century. British Library and Library of Congress show records of the 2nd abridged edition (1854), and Bibliothèque Nationale list a copy of this edition with 35 plates. |
