It remains extremely difficult tp identify small format incunabula and post-incunabula, especially when in a short period of time many variant editions were printed and when these variants are not easy to identify as print data are not given and variants in librairies and bibliographies are not always easy to identify either as for instance to different cataloguing standards. The same applies for this catechism of the first hour of which author and printer are unknown. The work was published no earlier than 1485 and 1520 and the number of editions, or variants may be estimated at 14 to 17, of which probably 4 to 6 are incunable editions, which were all printed in Rome by the Silber family. Comparing the accessible data, this present edition most likely was printed by Eucharius Silber, appoximately 1510. Lacking final blank leaf, 16.
