Lesort" at Grenelle street in Paris and became famous in religious bindings and much particularly in "pastiche" binding in the manner of magnificent 17th Cent. binding. He won a price at the 1867 exhibition (same year as this book) and had famous customers like Balzac (Fléty, 112). A few chafes spots, but over-all a fine set. |
