Issued in 78 weekly parts, starting on May 27, 1786. With plates "Engraved for the Revd. T. Bankes's Christians family Bible"; engraved by various engravers. Upper pastedown with mounted map of wider Hull area; lower pastedown with mounted map of England and Wales railways; first plate large tear (repaired on verso - same verso also w. family gift inscription in ink); last leaves lower margin faintly waterstained. First two blank versos of the NT with manuscript family losses of the Millner family (1806-1887) and marriages and births (1843-1887). Binding worn; upper joint very weak; spine pasted over with cloth in matching colour. |
