| Meer info | = Very rare. The portfolios complete in itself, but a third portfolio with 12 more photographic plates was issued the same year. We could locate only three complete copies (3 volumes) in WorldCat (Koninklijke Bibliotheek, The Hague, Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin and Bibliotheque Nationale de France), with no further odd volumes added. C. Donker was a publisher located in The Hague (Sundastraat) with little further information available, apart from their adverts for these portfolios available at their publishing company and some specific addresses in The Netherlands. "Gebr. Donker en Co." ran an art and art supply studio in Soerabaia around 1892 and advertised the three portfolios as'"Gezichten van Java", 3 keurige mappen, bevattende 36 uitgezochte Photografieën" for hfl. 45,- in 1890 by pre-subscription, a tremendous sum at the time. Plate-volume 1 contains: 1. Het Residentiehuis te Soerabaya; 2. Riviergezicht te Sourabaya; 3. Weg naar Prigen te Soerabya; 4. Riviergezicht bij Modjokerto; 5. Probolingo; 6. Bezoeki; 7. Malang; 8. Aloon Aloon te Blitar; 9. Hangbrug van rottan te Blitar; 10. Spoorwegviaduct te Lawang; 11. Badinrichting te Wendid; 12. Een Inlandsch feest te Blitar. Plate-volume 2 contains: 1. Het Residentiehuis te Semarang; 2. Het Post- en Telegraafkantoor te Semarang; 3. De Militaire Apotheek te Semarang; 4. De nieuwe Kali met aangrenzende kantoren te Semarang; 5. Bodjongsche Weg te Seamarang; 6. Het Kampement Pontjol te Semarang; 7. De weg voor het Residentiehuis te Djocja; 8. Afgoden in messeumgarde ten Residentiehuize te Djocja; 9.
