I think it’s called Love.” “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”When We Were Very Young, fourth edition published in December 1924 (first edition was November 6th 1924), in original navy cloth covers with gilt lettering and gilt vignettes to front and back covers. A vague lighter circle of a waterdrop visible on frontcover (diameter ca. 1.5 cm.). Winnie-the-Pooh, published in 1926, first trade edition, first issue "First Published in 1926" stated on the copyright page in green cloth covers with giltlettering and vignettes of Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh, illustrated endpapers with map of 100 Acre Wood and numerous line drawings throughout the book of Pooh and his friends. Fine copy. Now We are Six, published in 1927, second edition in maroon cloth with giltlettering and vignette of Christopher Robin playing with a train engine on front and Pooh and Piglet on backcover. Some foxing to free endpapers; browning/ offsetting from endpapers to divisional title and second-to-last leaf. Small waterspot visible on backcover (diameter ca. 0,8 cm.) and a small strip of upper joint at base of spine seems to have been wet sometime (ca. 2.5 cm.). The House at Pooh Corner, published in 1928, second edition in salmon cloth, covers with giltlettering and vignette on front. Covers a trifle sunfaded on spine and upper margin. Pastedowns with vague tape-ghosts.
