Roos was a glass-painter and art teacher in Amsterdam (Lit.: Scheen). l Pen and brown ink on transparent brown paper, 255 x 155 mm. Signed and dated lower right 'C.S. Roos. 1880'. Small holes in lower part of the image (possibly because of chemical damage), very slight traces of folding, but otherwise fine. |
