Illustrated with hundreds of (mostly) clear woodcuts by Christoffel van Sichem II (1581-1658). According to RKD: "Van Sichem made a large number of woodcuts (e.g. after A. Bloemaert, H. Goltzius and M. van Heemskerck) for several publications; many of his prints he put together in: C. van Sichem, Der zielen Lust-Hof 'I. Iacobsz. Leuven' [Amsterdam] 1629; C. van Sichem, Bibels tresoor, ofte Der zielen lvsthof, Amsterdam (P.I. Paets) 1646; C. van Sichem en H. Hugo, 't Schat der zielen, dat is: het geheele leven ons Heeren Iesu Christi: naer de vyer euangelisten, Amsterdam (Pieter I.P. = Pieter Jacobsz. Paets) 1648."Judging by the missing sections, it is possible that some woodcuts have been collected seperately. Purchasing individual woodcuts can be discussed, since the book is already incomplete.
