Sheet size 243 x 287 mm.Hermanus Fock (Amsterdam 1766-1822 Amsterdam) was a capable draughtsperson and printmaker. Most of his works are landscapes (some with figures), in the region around Haarlem, Amsterdam, Zandvoort and Velsen. From 1816 to 1821 he was a teacher of drawing in Franeker.In very good condition, cropped to the platemark and glued to a card carrier. Minimal paper loss in the top left corner.References: not described. |
