In the early morning the pilgrims set out for the Ganges. Then there are the processions and immersions and other activities. Around noon, food distributions take place. After lunch, the pilgrims again bring offerings at the Ganges ad get rid of theirs sins by immersing themselves in the sacred river. That continues until well after sunset.
