Basierend auf einem Buch des französisch-libanesischen Autors Amin Maalouf wird die Geschichte der Kriege aus der Sicht arabischer Quellen nachgezeichnet. 2011 wurde Shawky mit dem ersten Teil, The Horror Show File (2010), schlagartig berühmt.
