This exhibition, held under the sponsorship of an international European Textile Network (ETN) conference, offers participants the chance to make new contacts and to see their own work in global context, enabling comparison of their own achievements to those of others. Among the applicants for the exhibition were 56 artists from Turkey, 114 from Europe, 23 from North America, six from Central and South America, three from Australia, and one from South Africa. Among all, Turkish artists showed a greater diversity in their works with the highly traditional works submitted together with very free creative art pieces. |
