| Meer info | The rapid changes which have occured in the content of social psychology, both in its concepts and in its data, have seemed to me to justify the appearance of a new textbook in the field. More particularly, the increasing concern of psychologists with other cultures has suggested that here might be some interest in an attempt at integration between psychology and ethnology. This integration is by no means complete, but I have the hope that some at least of the findings of ethnology and comparative sociology have been brought within the psychologist's frame of reference. At the same time the traditional content of social psycholoy has also been taken into consideration, although to a somewhat reduced extent because of the inclusion of materials from neighboring social sciences.
