| Meer info | Verena Andrea Prenner’s photo project is an attempt to grasp the non-life situation of a refugee camp in an artistic way that combines the senses, intellect and pragmatism and makes us all complicit in her socio-political investigation. Verena Andrea Prenner is a sociologist and photographer, born in Neunkirchen, Lower Austria, in 1982. For her artistic work she undertakes long-term sociological fieldwork and looks closely at various marginal groups because it is margins that define the centre. Out of this work she developed ideas and individual reflexions and views about societies, which she portrays with the help of volunteers and passers-by as staged photography. |
