| Meer info | This book reminds me of free form crochet except it is from the 70's era. I have found that many of today's crochet techniques are usually found in older books in varying degrees. This is not a book stocked full of patterns but it is a book stocked full of creative ideas. The picture of crocheted pearls in the jewelry section of the picture gallery, shows that this is an old idea which has been brought to life again, as I have seen patterns for something like this today. There are other jewelry pieces in the picture gallery that show crocheting with wire which is very popular today. The book's main objective is to inspire us to create our own designs. I recommend the book for it's creativity, inspiration and its funkiness. |
