| Meer info | Rein Jansma (1959 – 2023) was a Dutch architect. In 1982 he made the booklet ‘Stairs’, a pop-up book with 10 stairs. It is a three-dimensional artwork with cut outs of folded stairs without any tekst. ‘Stairs’ received international acclaim for its spatial elegance and has been reprinted several times. This is an exemplar of the original 1982 art work that is also part of the collections of Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. |
