His son-in-law was David Livingstone, an explorer and missionary who often worked with Moffat and his missionary efforts at various stations in southern Africa. Scenes and Services in South Afrika was published in 1876 to commemorate Robert Moffat's 50 years of missionary work in Southern Afrika. It is a retrospective of his life's labour. |
