| Meer info | ?Kossmann (?) explains how the non-Jewish pre-Esther story was rewritten into the three stories that nowadays exist: the MT, the LXX and the AT. She distinguishes between a redactional stress on Jews and on Purim. Although the text is neatly organised in seven chapters, the text does not read easily. One has to check carefully which argument is used to prove which thesis. (?) The conclusion of the study reflects more or less her point of departure. The road she took, however, offers valuable insights into the redaction of the different books of Esther and will continue to stimulate the Esther research.?
