| Meer info | Designed and manufactured in 1921 by the engineer Bernard-Albin Gras, this functional and performant lamp had success until 1970. Easily adaptable to each user’s needs, it was adopted by Le Corbusier who described it as the perfect “object-tool” reduced to its pure function. He used it both in his office and architectural works. Following him a lot of avant-garde figures adopted the lamp, helping it go down in the legend. Today, the Gras lamp finds favour with a new generation of architects, interior decorators and collectors fascinated by this object, a product of early modernism. RARE ! CONDITIN VERY GOOD !!! |
