The series was produced by Holp Shuppan Publishers (Tokyo) in collaboration with The Bodley Head (London) in 1981-1982. The facsimiles reproduced original 18th- and 19th-century publications, including fairy tales, rhyming books, moral stories, alphabet books, and early illustrated children's books, with faithful illustrations and bound presentations that preserve the aesthetics of the historical prints. |
