| Meer info | First published in 1951, this revised second edition of Jean Delacour’s significant ornithological work The Pheasants of the World, was updated and extended to include the latest information gathered at the end of the 20th century from pheasant breeders throughout the world, especially on the hatching and rearing of the rarer species, the distribution and habits of all 49 species, and a description of methods of captive management, or aviculture. Illustrated with 32 full-page plates (16 in colour) by J.C. Harrington, 21 maps and diagrams, and a coloured frontispiece by R. David Rigby. Condition book: very good - with pencilled price on endpaper, few light colour stains front/title page and back board, and some foxing outer paper edges on top/side Condition dj: some shelf wear along all edges, small tear top of spine, light crease along spine, bit smudged look overall. * Ewold signeerde zelf bijna al zijn boeken, en dit feit wordt als zodanig dan ook niet nog extra vermeld in de beschrijving.
**Verzendopties worden afgestemd aan de hand van actuele tarieven. Persoonlijke afhaling/bezorging kan besproken worden.
