| Meer info | This book is a documentary: it presents photographs, drawings, text and original manifestoes related to a certain activity of Jörg Immendorff (with help of many friends) which he namend LIDL. It took place into 1966 (when the artist was still a student in Joseph's Beuys' class at Düsseldorf art school) and 1970. LIDL was a convincing attempt to place art in the context of politics. In his works after LIDL, Immendorff did in no way renouce that cherished principle; but he found other ways to carry it out. |
